In October, Golden Goose PR was honoured to launch the artist Gerald Laing’s tribute to the late Amy Winehouse; a powerful collection of pop-art paintings that were displayed for a month at Thomas Gibson Fine Art in Mayfair.

Today it has sadly been reported that Gerald has passed away, aged 75.

It was a pleasure to meet Gerald, share a morning coffee with him at the Ivy Club and hear his stories of Warhol, creating the Twickenham Stadium sculptures, and about his life and beliefs as one of the most important artists of the past century.

We are all sad that he has passed away and are thoughts are with Gerald’s friends and family.
